We make personalized houses- houses that suit the requirements of clients and fit their budget.

While our approach to work is highly professional, inter personal relationship is the foundation on which we build our houses. We don't believe in making just houses but homes. We make personalized houses- houses that suit the requirements of clients and fit their budget. Habitat houses are very down to earth yet reflect a dignity, aesthetics and respect for nature- something that has become synonymous with Habitat.

When you come to us, half the responsibility of building a house becomes ours. But mind you, it is only half. You have to take the responsibility of the other half. After all, it is your own house. Habitat Technology Group enables people to build their own houses. It is a facilitator and definitely not a contractor. All the financial dealings will be between the client and the material and / labour contractor. Habitat Technology Group will not be responsible for any financial /management losses incurred.

With 600 professionals and more than 1000 support staff in 34 regional centres and four international centres, Habitat has come of age. Its portfolio includes residences, resorts, hotels, restaurants, commercial complexes, educational campuses, hospitals, IT parks, townships and a lot more.

Similarly, workers and material suppliers can also be recommended by the office.

  6. Our site engineer/supervisor will visit the site regularly when the work is going on.
  7. We will support you (if required) in choosing reputed shops for the purchase of good quality building materials like wood, floor tiles, electrical and plumbing items etc. in competitive rates.
  8. The first instalment is the initial registration fee of Rs. 3,000/-. For giving all the said technical support and for the preparation of drawings our professional fees will be 5% of the estimated construction cost taken at the rate of Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per square feet *. This assumed rate per square feet is only for the calculation of our professional fees.
  9. Remittance of our Professional fee is divided into five equal instalments on different stages of construction:
    1. At the time of submission of final plan to the local bodies for approval.
    2. On completion of the basement level.
    3. On completion of the lintel level.
    4. On completion of the ground floor roof slab.
    5. During the final finishing works i.e. before the flooring is laid.

The question we are often asked is how do we make our buildings cost effective? It is the alternative technologies and eco friendly materials we use that make our buildings cost effective. As a principle, we go for locally available materials thereby reducing the cost of transportation. Techniques like filler slab roofing, inter-locking bricks and rat trap bond can make a noticeable difference in the amount of materials used without affecting the quality of construction. Similarly, going in for unconventional and alternative materials like compressed mud blocks instead of country burnt brick, concrete or metal frames instead of wooden ones, terracotta tiles instead of expensive granite and marble flooring can bring down the cost by at least 25%.

The conventional materials like cement, concrete and iron, require high energy for their manufacturing and are hard on the environment. We can reduce the burden on earth by choosing eco friendly and sustainable technologies and materials for our use. And the best part is we still can build aesthetically beautiful, comfortable and sturdy houses. The only thing you have to make is a conscious choice.
